In a surprising collaboration that breaks conventional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Disclosed

According to the official statement, "A strange encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of banned ceremonies and monstrous transformations echo through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a hidden sect.

The mission concentrates on "bizarre tests and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
